I purchased this after being hit in the face too many times by flying twigs ; pebbles while using my gas trimmer. It works great! The headband is easily adjusted while on your head; it even helps to keep the sweat out of your eyes. I've used this for 2 seasons already and I am now ready to replace the shield itself. It easily removes for cleaning, or you can leave it attached to the headband - I use soap ; water on a sponge to clean it. Save your eyes and face from flying debris with this comfortable Hobart face shield. Highly recommended.

Item seems sturdy and adjusts to fit well. However...
Item wasn't packaged in anything! Bare item just thrown into the box with a little bit of brown paper.
There were no instructions. I found out from someone that you have to peel a protective layer off of the mask. There is NOTHING that says to do that, not even anything on the plastic layer to be peeled off. It was also very difficult to get the peeling process started as there is nothing to help you start it.
Even still, the shield is NOT clear plastic, it is translucent green. I need CLEAR as the product title on Amazon says it's supposed to be and as the picture shows it is supposed to be.
This was not the cheapest face shield on Amazon. I was willing to pay the extra for a quality product. The product itself is quality, just not what it was said to be.
Very poor packaging, no instructions, item not as described. I am returning the item and will look for something different.
